3331 Arts Chiyoda (Note that this is a new and different location than last year!)
The event will be held in a hall roughly the area of medium-sized European demoparties.
Needless to say, the partyplace features a massive screen for showing productions.
Also, it will now be possible to bring food and drinks from outisde, so you can enjoy demos while having, and maybe sharing, delicacies.
(That being said this is a demoparty, not a cooking party, so please don't bring your stove or microwave. :) )

Do you enjoy making music?
I'm FL1NE, previously known as T_S.
This year it looks like I will give another seminar about music.
I will begin with how to make electronic music similar to EDM, followed up with a question and answer session.
Let's make music together! Version 2016
"A REAL-TIME POST-PROCESSING CRASH COURSE" presented at Revision 2015 will be represented in Japanese.
abstract:
Monte Carlo path tracing is now the dominant rendering technique in film VFX, animated films,
commercials and pre-rendered videogame content. This marks the end of an era.
In this talk I will provide some historical context on how studios transitioned from rasterization-based pipelines,
describe the key benefits that motivated this transition, and discuss some of the challenges that still lie ahead
in the never-ending quest for increased detail and visual realism.
bio:
Marcos is the founder of Solid Angle, where he leads the development of the Arnold path tracing renderer.
Prior to that, Marcos was a visiting Software Architect at Sony Pictures Imageworks, a visiting researcher
at USC’s Institute for Creative Technologies under the supervision of Dr. Paul Debevec,
and also consulted at various CG studios around the world. Marcos is a frequent speaker at SIGGRAPH, FMX and EGSR. His favorite sushi is engawa.
ASD tests the waters with Android development and creates a small new demo, using a new environment called "Defold" by well known games company King. Defold allows for fast content creation and deployment on a number of platforms. In this presentation we look into all the challenges of the task - from conception to rendering on a mobile phone -, and discuss the potential of using this new tool for future demoscene projects by others.
Joseph White (of Voxatron fame) presents PICO-8, his latest creation: a fantasy console for making, sharing and playing tiny games and other programs. PICO-8 is based on Lua and has a built-in editor for code, music, sounds, sprites, and maps. In this seminar, you will learn about the background and design of PICO-8, followed by a short live coding and tracking session.
